On Tuesday 13 January, a suspicious package delivered presumably by drone was discovered in the walking yard of the Lons-le-Saunier arrest house. It contained a handgun, several ammunition and metal saw blades. The discovery resulted in the blocking of all movements in the establishment and the deployment of an important security device.
The package was discovered this Tuesday morning by a prison officer, reports Progress. The illegal items were probably delivered by drone.
According to the Public Prosecutor's Office on Tuesday, illicit items were "obviously delivered by drones" during the night.
