A result of the European Union's new carbon market, it will aim to reduce CO2 emissions, once again by way of tax deterrence. Established in 2023 by the European Union, the ETS2 (Emission trading system) will take effect at the beginning of 2027. This brand new carbon market aims to cap, measure and reduce greenhouse gas emissions within the green transition plan.
