A new national natural monument has been created in the Most region. The government declared it right in the active ČSA brown coal mine, where billionaire Pavel Tykač's Sev.en group was mining until recently. The protected status also applies to the land that the holding still owns. Tykač is offering it to the state for 155 million crowns, seventeen times more than the state collected when selling similar plots to ornithologists last year.
