A New Zealand court on Tuesday denied bail to a woman accused of child abuse for carrying a two-year-old girl in a locked suitcase during a bus trip. The accused, 27, whose family relationship to the girl has not been disclosed, appeared in an Auckland court on Tuesday, where Judge Anna Fitzgibbon ruled that she should remain in custody, according to public media outlet Radio New Zealand.
