The National Institute of Migration (INM) of Mexico temporarily suspended the operations of 33 temporary migratory stays, after the fire that occurred in one of them that caused the death of 40 detained immigrants
The suspended sites are spread over 25 states and do not include the largest centers, such as the 21st Century in Tapachula, Chiapas, the center of Acayucan, in Veracruz, or that of Las Agujas in Mexico City.
