43 year old Benjamin Carlin of Stockport was sentenced to 25 months at Croydon Crown Court on Wednesday 17th March. A woman spoke to Surrey police about Carlin in August 2025 under the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme, known as Clare’s Law. She raised concerns about her relationship with Carlin, detailing that his behaviour made her feel trapped and afraid to end the relationship
