Some of the people evicted from the Chomutov panel house may return before Christmas. The structural engineer decided this. The building started moving at the end of the summer. Geologists explored the subsoil with twenty-meter boreholes, but they are still estimating the exact cause of the sudden movements. According to Mayor Milan Märc (Nový Sever), it could be the result of a shaft collapse from the 19th century.
