A family is fighting to reclassify the murder of Djamel Bendjaballah as a racist crime

The relatives of the specialized educator, killed in Cappelle-la-Grande (North) on August 31, 2024, are mobilizing this Friday, January 17, 2025 in front of the Dunkerque court. They want justice to reclassify murder as a racist crime. Jérôme Décofour, affiliated with an extreme right-wing militia, has been indicted and placed in pre-trial detention since September 2.
