For several months, the Democratic Republic of the Congo has been facing an epidemic of cholera. More than 33,000 cases have already been recorded in several provinces of the country since the beginning of the year with more than 700 deaths. Conflict areas in the eastern part of the country are particularly affected, but also the capital Kinshasa, which registers nearly 130 new cases each week.
