$99 Puerto Rico Flights Launch From Virginia Airports via JetBlue

  • On March 27, JetBlue will launch nonstop flights between Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and Norfolk International Airport as part of a five-route expansion to San Juan.
  • The carrier's expansion follows years of growth and investment in Puerto Rico, where JetBlue has operated since 2002 and employs nearly 800 crew members, as JetBlue President Marty St. George said `Puerto Rico has shaped JetBlue's identity for more than two decades`.
  • Flights to Norfolk will operate four days a week on Airbus A320 aircraft, with departures from San Juan at 9 a.m. arriving at 12:50 p.m.
  • That addition increases JetBlue's San Juan network to 22 nonstop destinations and supports more than 40 daily departures next spring, boosting local tourism and economy, Puerto Rico Governor Jenniffer González-Colón said.
  • Tickets are on sale now with limited introductory one-way fares starting at $99, and Jacksonville International Airport regains nonstop JetBlue service after more than a decade amid Frontier Airlines competition.
