MHP dispatchers receive honors in Helena for dedication to service
- Three Montana Highway Patrol dispatchers were honored in Helena on April 15, 2025.
- The ceremony occurred during National Public Safety Telecommunications Week, also called Dispatch Week.
- Attorney General Knudsen and Colonel Sager presented awards at the Montana Highway Patrol dispatch center.
- Brittney Buchanan received Dispatcher of the Year for handling about 8,300 calls; she stated, "I feel really accomplished."
- Melissa Boice and Allison Spadini earned Colonel Coins for their handling of stressful emergency calls.
