$70M Apex drug plant to produce generics, add jobs

Vanguard Utility plans a $70 million investment in an Apex facility to manufacture generic injectable drugs in short supply in the U.S. The operation will use plastic packaging technology to cut costs and could grow to about 100 high-skilled jobs over the next three years.
