Due to adverse weather and sea conditions, swimming has been banned at all beaches in Vize district of Kırklareli. Gendarmerie teams will be conducting inspections.
July 20th is Marine Day. With summer in full swing, opportunities to spend time in the sea and rivers increase, and so does the risk of water-related accidents. According to the 11th Regional Coast Guard Headquarters, as of July 15th, there have been 72 marine leisure accidents in the prefecture this year, with 52 of them (70%) being tourists. There have also been 14 deaths and missing persons.
