6ABC's Brian Taff will anchor the 6 p.m. Action News after Jim Gardner retires on Dec. 21. Taff, who has worked at Action News for 13 years, currently co-anchors the noon and 4 p.m. newscasts with Sarah Bloomquist. Upon taking over for Gardner, Taff will remain on the 4 p.m. team but will leave the noon anchor chair. Gardner has been with 6ABC since 1976.
