6 East Bladen Athletes, 5 Relay Teams Qualify For State Track Meet

Lalia Smith won the 300-meter hurdles Saturday as six East Bladen individuals and five relay teams qualified for the N.C. High School Athletic Association 1A state championship meet. The 1A state meet is scheduled Friday at Marcus T. Johnson Track on the campus of N.C. A&T University in Greensboro. The top four finishes in each regional event qualfied for the state championship.
