5-year-old Michigan boy killed in hyperbaric chamber explosion at medical facility

A 5-Year-Old patient was killed when a hyperbaric oxygen chamber exploded at the Oxford Center in Troy, Michigan, on Friday morning.
The boy's mother was injured and was standing next to the chamber during the explosion, according to Troy Police Lt. Keith Young.
The Oxford Center stated that nothing like this has happened in their more than 15 years of providing therapy.
An investigation into the cause of the explosion and fire will be conducted by the state, as noted by Lt. Young.
