Massive traffic jams on Austrian motorways paralyzed traffic to Bavaria on Pentecost Saturday. The Tauern motorway (A10) was worst hit.

Those who drive by car on holiday over Pentecost need patience. Already today there were long traffic jams. On the Tauern motorway towards Austria the cars stood at more than 45 kilometres in length.
On the Tauern motorway the traffic was astounded: 45 kilometers long was the car snake.
In the Salzburger Land German holidaymakers stand for hours in the traffic jam. The Blechlawine goes back to Bavaria. Where further traffic jams threaten over Pentecost.
Because of a tunnel construction site in Salzburger Land nothing goes on a decisive route for holidaymakers from Germany. It is not the only traffic jam. The ADAC recommends trips only in the afternoon or Sunday.
