Officials from the National Weather Service have confirmed an EF-1 tornado damaged some homes, snapped and uprooted trees Saturday, June 7.

The National Weather Service confirmed that at least three EF1 tornadoes struck Sequoyah County on Friday, with one beginning at Vian, another near Sallisaw and a third went north of Roland into Liberty, moving into Arkansas.
