4-H premium auction brings in record-making funds

The community showed “record-breaking support” in the annual 4-H premium auction fundraiser Saturday, July 19 at the Hubbard County Fair. According to a news release, among the 24 bidders and 40 “community bidder fund” donors, the event brought in $45,650. Bidders in the premium auction bid on the ribbon, or premium, earned by the 4-H’ers market animal livestock exhibit, the release states, while the animal itself remains under the youth’s owner…
