Spain attacks 'selfish' response of some EU countries to Ceuta migrant crossings
The leaders want a coordinated EU response and are also urging more support from Frontex and a review of cooperation with Morocco.

- Life in the autonomous city of 84,000 has been disrupted by the border incident. "The return of people has begun satisfactorily," said President Juan Jesus Vivas, though the city remains unsettled.
- Spanish soldiers have been escorting exhausted migrants back across the border at Tarajal beach, with some individuals discovered hiding in tunnels as the Interior Ministry confirms most have already returned to Morocco.
- Among remaining migrants, 23-year-old Moroccan Mohamed Hatri expressed determination to stay despite hardship. "Even if they close it down & we're round to stay here," he said, illustrating ongoing tensions.
