ICBC is reminding drivers to help protect kids’ safety on the roads after a survey found 31 per cent of drivers admitted to “sometimes” speeding in school zones, while four per cent said they “always” do. School zone speed limits of 30 kilometres per hour are in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in areas around most schools, while some schools have playground zones, which are in effect from dawn to dusk.
