The judicial authorities of several countries have carried out a wide operation for seven months to disrupt networks behind illegal streaming. 29 people have been arrested and more than 27,000 illegal streaming URLs have been removed. Over 720,000 products that violate copyright have been identified.
Twenty-nine people have been arrested in a major international operation against illegal streaming. Police services from Bulgaria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, the UK, and the US participated in Operation Kratos 2, according to the European police service Europol.
