Exactly 25 years ago today, a Hapag-Lloyd Airbus had to land at Vienna Airport after he had run out of fuel.
An Austrian pilot flew the Airbus in spite of the extended chassis until the fuel ran out over Budapest. He landed in a glider in Vienna-Schwechat.
