WhatsApp to stop working on these phones from 5 May

WhatsApp will stop working on older iPhones starting 5 May, and users have been urged to update their devices or lose access to the app.

As of April 15, WhatsApp will stop working on a number of mobile phones that still operate with outdated versions of Android and iOS.
