2025-2026 School Year Calendar Now Approved – Halton Catholic District School Board

We are publishing the school calendar for primary schools for the 2025/26 school year.

The Ministry of Education and Education has published on its websites the school calendar for primary schools for the 2025/26 school year. Classes will begin on Monday, September 1. Of the holidays during the school year, the longest will be New Year's, when students will be free from classes for 11 days. The cultural holiday Prešeren Day will be held on Sunday next year.

The Ministry of Education has just confirmed that the 2025-2026 School Year Calendar has been approved.  Key Dates at a Glance The first day of school for HCDSB students is on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
