€15.1m social housing scheme to deliver 62 homes in Tuam

Construction is due to begin later this month on a €15.1 million social housing development in Tuam which will provide 62 new homes. Galway County Council has signed the construction contract for the Farrannamartin development on the Galway Road, around one kilometre from the town centre. Construction has started on 12 new social rented homes in Barrhead on a previously derelict site at Cross Arthurlie Street. Family-owned housebuilder AS Homes (Scotland) is delivering the development on behalf of Barrhead Housing.
