11-Year-Old Boy's Hand Destroyed After Being Blown up by a Firecracker He Picked Up

An 11-year-old boy lost four fingers after a firecracker he picked up exploded in his hand in Lingayen, Pangasinan. Based on records from the Department of Health-Ilocos Region, out of the 170 firecracker-related injuries in the entire region from December 21 to January 1, most of the victims were children aged 10 to 14.
