Tenth bus of migrants from Texas arrives in Los Angeles
The tenth bus carrying migrants from the Texas-Mexico border arrived in Los Angeles on Saturday morning, including 12 families with a total of 21 children and 19 adults. The group consists of asylum seekers from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Peru, and Venezuela.
The L.A. Welcomes Collective, a network of immigrant rights and legal services providers, faith organizations, and city and county officials, welcomed the bus of migrants with open arms, emphasizing compassion and dignity amid political tension on immigration policy.
