ALABASTER Twp. – The Iosco County Sheriff’s Office (ICSO) has announced that at approximately 1:04 p.m. on June 23, Iosco County Central Dispatch received a call that a 10-year-old child was in need of rescue in Lake Huron.

Officials say the child was not wearing a lifejacket when they slipped into the water.
