HOLDEN BEACH, N.C. (WNCN) -- Four people were saved from rip currents at the North Carolina coast on Saturday, with two taken to a hospital following the rescue. HOLDEN BEACH, NC (WWAY) — A Holden Beach landmark has been knocked down after being closed for several years. The Holden Beach pier building has been demolished after standing for more than 70 years.
