"Degüello" was the last LP of ZZ Top of the 1970s, and in more ways. With the first appearance of the band’s extraordinarily long beards and (for God’s sake!) keyboards, this album represents ZZ Top in the last moments of his life as that “little old Texas band.” You can almost hear the space shuttle making its final approach, ready to take them to MTV. But not yet.
