Zoo Celebrates Birth of 51 Baby Red-Eared Slider Turtles

This month, the Brasília Zoo celebrates the birth of 51 baby water tigers of the Trachemys scripta species. Also known as red-eared sliders, these creatures are easily identifiable by the red-orange stripe on the sides of their heads.
