He confirmed his skills. The short track world championship race - the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic - was once again won by Polish champion Bartosz Zmarzlik. He dominated the final at Prague's Marketa after five years. He left behind his great rival Frederik Lingren from Sweden and Dane Leon Madsen.
Prague - Defending world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik from Poland won the Speedway Grand Prix of the Czech Republic in Prague. After three races out of a total of ten, he took the lead in the standings. Jan Kvěch advanced from the basic part to the next battles as the last tenth, but did not make it to the final. He took eighth place.
