- The Food Safety and Drug Administration Department conducted the special drive under Karnataka Health and Family Welfare Minister UT Khader's guidance to enforce strict food quality and hygiene standards across the region.
- At the Indira Canteens, officials found "non-compliant labelling, misbranding and unhygienic food handling and storage conditions," while the Bengaluru North City Corporation imposed a ₹25,000 penalty on Zepto in Thanisandra.
- Zepto stated it fully cooperated with authorities and is taking necessary steps to address observations, while officials recommended filing cases before the competent Adjudicating Officer for further legal action.
- Beyond Bengaluru, the Maharashtra FDA on Monday suspended a Mumbai Blinkit facility's licence over cockroach infestation, and authorities also investigated a Reliance Retail outlet in Buldhana over similar hygiene breaches.
