Youth Empowerment Conference sparks growth and change

VALLEY — Saturday’s Summer 2025 Youth Empowerment Conference at the Valley Community Center drew more than 145 participants, most of whom were youth between four and 22 years old. Youth and the adults working with them in the four-hour program filled almost every chair inside the Community Center’s Bobby Crowder Room, and people were standing along the walls in the back of the room.
