TDAP Cases: Gilani Finally Gets Off the Hook

KARACHI, PAKISTAN, JUL 18 – The court cleared Gilani of 26 corruption charges citing lack of evidence and unjust delay in the 14-year TDAP freight subsidy case, one of Pakistan's largest scandals.

A trial court in the country's economic hub on Friday acquitted Senate Chairman Yusuf Raza Gilani and other accused in all the cases filed during the PML-N's rule in 2013 in connection with a Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) scandal.
