COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS, JUN 23 – Young Thug returned to performing after his 2024 jail release, headlining for over 100,000 fans and premiering new songs from his upcoming album Uy Scuti.
Young Thug headlined Lyrical Lemonade and SPKRBX’s 2025 Summer Smash on June 22 at SeatGeek Stadium near Chicago, performing live for the first time since his 2022 arrest.
His return followed a 1200-day absence after pleading guilty to racketeering and serving time, a legal ordeal marked by controversy over prosecutors using his lyrics as evidence.
Thug’s set mixed fan favorites and deep cuts, featured Travis Scott joining to perform “Hot,” and included appearances by Atlanta artist Ken Carson and T.I., enhancing the show’s significance.
Over 100,000 fans attended the three-day festival, and Thug debuted a new single, 'Money On Money' featuring Future, marking his second new release since his November 2024 jail release.
