Four tornadoes touched down in Acadiana over the weekend, including an EF-1 tornado that caused significant damage in Evangeline Parish. The tornado struck Pine Prairie near Crooked Creek, snapping trees and damaging multiple buildings in the area. The Heflin family experienced the brunt of the storm on their property, where several outbuildings were destroyed. Despite the damage, the family said they are grateful no one was hurt.
