YOFC Completes Peru National Broadband Project, Expanding Fibre Connectivity for Local Communities

Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company announced that the national broadband network entered operation in Ancash on February 2, following a launch event marking its completion and entry into service.
Raúl García signed the project agreement with YOFC six years ago at the Government Palace, beginning the program, attended by senior officials including Angelly Epifania.
Spanning four regions, the network connects over 1,600 towns and more than one million people, deploying more than 9,000 kilometers of optical cable and constructing over 1,500 sites for more than 4,000 public institutions.
YOFC's successful delivery highlights its execution capabilities, demonstrating its ability to provide end-to-end optical communications solutions and expected tangible benefits for local communities.
YOFC plans to deepen global partnerships and expand fibre connectivity across global markets to help more countries overcome digital infrastructure constraints and foster an inclusive, sustainable digital ecosystem.
