- As an older entry in the series, Yakuza 3's gameplay had aged while its Morning Glory orphanage story remained narratively important, making it a strong candidate for a remake.
- Players will find new modes such as the expanded Morning Glory orphanage with Daddy Rank, Bad Boy Dragon biker battles, Survival Hell roguelite, Ryukyu Style combat, and Reapers boss encounters.
