2025 Xpeng G9: Updated EV SUV revealed with more range, AI tech

Xpeng has unveiled an updated version of its G9 SUV with enhanced power and electric range, featuring a new generation of the Turing AI intelligent driving system that eliminates the need for LiDAR.
The G9 offers two drivetrain configurations: a single-motor option with 258kW of power and a dual-motor version providing up to 423kW, with driving ranges of 625km, 680km, and 725km based on CLTC testing.
Pricing for the updated G9 has not been announced, though the current model starts at 263,900 yuan .
Australian customers can express interest via Xpeng's website, but order availability remains unclear.
