Disney and WWE Announce "Avengers: Doomsday" Event with Ticket Info

The companies will add combo tickets, retail sales and a fan event as WWE uses the partnership to promote Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday.

  • The Walt Disney Company and WWE announced a two-day takeover of the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on December 14 and 15, headlined by the John Cena Classic and an "Avengers: Doomsday"-themed "Worlds Collide" event.
  • This expansion builds on the existing relationship between WWE and Disney, which began last year when WWE Premium Live Events started airing on ESPN, strengthening the companies' partnership beyond broadcast.
  • WWE and Fanatics will host "WWE World," an immersive two-day fan event at the complex, while two-day combo tickets go on presale November 12 at 10am ET and general sale November 13 at 10am ET.
  • Members of Club WWE will vote in real time for their favorite Superstar performance, awarding the night's top honor; talent from Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and AAA will compete across both events.
  • Ahead of the theatrical release of "Avengers: Doomsday" on December 18, WWE will sell co-branded products, including title belts, at the venue, WWEShop.com, and select Disney retail stores.
