WV man alleges jail health care provider ignored care needed for broken leg

Joseph Trent Jones broke his leg on March 19, 2023, and was taken into custody the same day, according to the lawsuit filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. He was held at SCRJ for 120 days “without receiving follow-up and proper medical intervention" due to the inaction of Wexford Health Sources, the complaint says.
