LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (WATE) — Highway 11 and Highway 70 east in Lenoir City are shut down after a dump truck hit a traffic light pole, causing injuries Monday morning, the Loudon County Sheriff's Office said. The highway appears to have reopened on TDOT's SmartWay map. The dump truck was hauling rock when it struck the pole, which fell and hit another truck, LCSO said. Injuries were reported.
