Would-Be 'Cat' Burglar Fails

February 24, 2026 Police are hunting a would-be thief who allegedly tried to squeeze into a Murgon home via a pet door. A police spokesperson said about 2:45am on February 6, a person entered the yard of a house in Chataway Street. The person walked up the back stairs and tried to open a screen door.
