Thirty three-year-old former British soldier Craig Wood has officially begun his world first maritime expedition to become the world’s first triple amputee to sail solo, non-stop and unsupported 7,000 nautical miles across the Pacific Ocean. Having completed his final preparations on-board his boat Sirius II, Craig set off from Puerto Vallarta in Mexico today (25th March) at 16.45 UK time.
