Paris. Donald Trump’s return to power caused in the United States a “alarming deterioration” of press freedom, whose situation also worsened in Argentina, El Salvador, and especially in Nicaragua, Reporters Without Borders (RSF) yesterday. It is the first time since 2002 that the civil organization has described as “difficult” the global situation for the exercise of journalism.
