The member countries of the World Health Organization (WHO) have agreed at the 78th World Health Assembly to update the action plan to reduce antimicrobial resistance deaths by up to 10% by 2030. To this end, the Global Action Plan (GAP) on antimicrobial resistance (RAM) will be updated for discussion at next year's World Health Assembly (WHA79) in 2026.
