Workplace stress epidemic killing 10,000 people a year

Europe’s workplace stress epidemic is killing around 10,000 people a year, according to a new analysis which shows the urgent need for an EU directive on psychosocial risks at work.

Going to work in a state of stress has an impact on health, and can even cause death. The alert was launched this Monday by European unions on the occasion of World Day for Safety and Health at Work.
