Work continues on Baskett Community Firehouse

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- Progress continues at the site of the new Baskett Community Fire Department Firehouse. Officials with the fire department says overhead doors and some interior lights are installed. The next step they say is putting up drywall. Firefighters broke ground for the new building in September 2024. Once completed officials say all fire engines will be housed in the same place for the first time in 30 years.
